- Chris WAll I can say is that if you like smoked, dry rub, perfectly seasoned, falling-off-the-bone ribs, you need to hot-foot it over to Texas Pit. My friend brought 1 1/2 racks to me for my birthday today and we planned on eating them later this afternoon. But.....as soon as I opened up one of the trays, they looked SO good I had to try one. And then another one. And another one. Take the test---try 'em and see if YOU can eat just one! We had enough ribs for 3 adults with three ribs left, and we were stuffed. The smoked flavor and dry-rub seasoning were in perfect proportion to each other so you can taste each one equally. No sauce necessary, and in fact I wouldn't want to mask such a good flavor by using sauce. Like I said, every one of these ribs was so tender they fell completely off the bone and were absolutely delicious. - Elizabeth DExcellent. Large portions. The smoke pulls you in. Loved the brisket. Ribs were good. Hashbrown casserole is my favorite side. Desserts were just fine.
